Maintenance Fitter
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance department in the timber industry based in Te Puke.
- The position is responsible for maintenance of mechanically functioning equipment and project planning and implementation. You will oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment.
- Interpret drawings and execute project plans
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
- Restoring, repairing, rebuilding or replacing faulty components and parts
- Complete repairs and perform scheduled maintenance
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust
- Ensure health and safety standards are always adhere to
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering (Level 4)
- 4+ years related experience and / or training in mechanical engineering
- Good knowledge of MS office products
- Exposure to Dynastar software or similar
- This position is on a rotating day / night shift roster, Monday to Friday, with rotating on call weekends.
