We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance department in the timber industry based in Te Puke.
The position is responsible for maintenance of mechanically functioning equipment and project planning and implementation. You will oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment.
Interpret drawings and execute project plans
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
Restoring, repairing, rebuilding or replacing faulty components and parts
Complete repairs and perform scheduled maintenance
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust
Ensure health and safety standards are always adhere to
Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering (Level 4)
4+ years related experience and / or training in mechanical engineering
Good knowledge of MS office products
Exposure to Dynastar software or similar
This position is on a rotating day / night shift roster, Monday to Friday, with rotating on call weekends.
