Te Tūranga | The role:
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in influencing the future regulatory environment for the bank and managing ASB's relationships with key external stakeholders. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the business to respond to regulatory information requests and ad hoc queries and drafting of responses to and engagement with ASB's primary regulators on high risk matters or emerging developments or issues.
- Monitor, review and update of regulator response protocols and SOPs and monitor compliance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business on new and evolving regulatory risks as they relate to current regulatory priorities and focus areas.
- Strong relationships across the business to ensure all new risks and opportunities are understood with a view to keeping ASB's primary regulators well informed of key developments and new initiatives.
