Cleaner - Commercial
Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our Night Shift Cleaning Crew.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within our commercial factory setting. This role involves cleaning various factory equipment and machinery, ensuring a hygienic and organized workspace, and adhering to safety standards and procedures.
Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform commercial cleaning duties in the factory environment, including but not limited to:
- Moba machine
- Easylift machine
- Conveyors
- Floors and drains
- Red bins
- Scraping eggs off the floor
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure all areas and machinery are thoroughly cleaned.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow company health and safety procedures, using the provided personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-capped boots.
- Perform any other cleaning-related tasks as required to support the smooth running of the factory.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred, but not essential.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A car and full, valid driver's license is required, as the site is located 30 minutes north of Dunedin.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
