We are looking for a skilled and reliable driver with experience handling trailers for a Part-Time Delivery Driver role. The role is based in Wiri, Auckland. The nature of this role is part time, you will be required to come into work on an on call basis. Therefore you have to have a flexible schedule to do this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver 6m trailers, including navigating tight and tricky driveways.
- Assist with loading and unloading trailers
- Work flexible hours, including local deliveries and occasional long-haul trips across New Zealand as needed.
- Maintain clear, professional, and time-bound communication with customers and suppliers.
- Accurately record all deliveries in the CONQA (Starke QA system) - full training provided.
- Properly receipt and hand over all incoming goods, returns, and pickups to the correct team members.
- Handle customer and supplier queries effectively, directing them to the appropriate Starke team members when necessary.
- Monitor and report any issues with tyres, trailer hooks, or other equipment to the factory manager.
Requirements:
- A valid New Zealand driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically fit with the ability to lift, load, and unload trailers
- Previous customer service experience - professional and friendly
- Flexible availability
