The Company

  • Is a leading multidisciplinary property development consultancy in Christchurch, New Zealand. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, they specialise in providing comprehensive development solutions to clients across various industries.
  • As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented and motivated surveyor to join their established and experienced Surveying team.


The Role

  • Play a key role in adding your skills to their existing survey team working on projects across the South Island. You will work closely with their team of surveyors and engineers to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of their surveying operations.
  • This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of land surveying and contribute to the success of their projects.
  • Undertake fieldwork using GPS equipment, total stations, and other surveying tools.
  • Collect and process survey data accurately and efficiently in 12d & AutoCAD.
  • Prepare survey reports and other project documentation.
  • Perform calculations and analysis to support surveying activities.
  • Maintain surveying equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment


About You

  • New Zealand Degree, Diploma or certificate in land surveying, or related field, (or recognised equivalent).
  • Previous experience in land surveying or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency in using total stations, GPS, GNSS and surveying software (12d experience preferable).
  • Some basic engineering ability would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Ability to work in New Zealand.
