About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has come about for a new Cook to join our busy team with BestStart in Invercargill. You will be based at BestStart Rugby Park and will support our current cook in preparing meals for 4 of our Invercargill centres.
As our new Cook you’ll need to be efficient with your time and have an excellent knowledge or be willing to learn more about foods that promote good nutrition and healthy eating for our children.
This is a permanent part- time position working 12 hours per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am - 1pm.

Knowledge around health and safety in the kitchen and set high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
A passion for cooking and baking
Be able to work in a well within a team
Have good initiative and the ability to follow instructions
