Job Description

We are looking for a full time manager for our takeaway – Tandoori Nights in Ngaio,
Wellington. This position has been created as the owner/director is wanting time off of the business after years of managing and running operations.

Job responsibilities:

To ensure the overall smooth and effective operation of the store with a strong customer
service
and to perform the following tasks on a day-to-day basis and take sole charge for the
business.
- Undertake regular menu changes as per customer demand
- Booking, planning and organising special functions/party orders
- Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
- Advertise and promote our food and deals
- maintaining adequate stock levels, records of stock levels and financial transactions
- ensuring store comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of
suitable appearance
- Meeting customer requirements and assess their satisfaction with meals and service
- Selecting, training and supervising kitchen staff
- Greet guests and assist in taking orders

You must have three years of relevant work experience or a relevant Level 6 Diploma in
Management or Business.
