He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Part Time Cook to work at our Education site (Diocesan School) in Epsom, Auckland. Hours of work are Saturday and Sunday (10AM to 7.30PM) during term times. You will be sole working at the weekends however guidance/instructions will be provided to assist you.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

In this position;

  • You will be working sole charge - cooking, preparing and serving quality meals according to dietitian specifications and,
  • You will be ensuring the quality of every dish we serve!
  • You will maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen.


He kōrero mōu / About you:

If you're our ideal candidate;

  • You will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality.
  • Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one.
  • You will need to have the ability to work independently and confidently.
  • Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
