Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Store Person to join our busy site in Christchurch. This full-time role offers variety and opportunity for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greeting customers on-site and assisting with their requirements • Responding to email enquiries regarding pricing and availability • Answering phone calls and providing excellent customer service • Picking, packing, and receipting stock • Generating packing slips and assisting with other general stores duties • Assisting with day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth workflows • Operating a forklift
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A valid forklift license
Experience with receipting and picking stock
Good level of physical fitness (this is a physical role)
Attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to work overtime when required
A team-oriented attitude
A good sense of humour!
A valid full class 1 driver’s license (Class 2 is a bonus)
Reliability and dependability
Intermediate computer skills
Experience in face-to-face customer service
A professional telephone manner
