Queenstown Stopping Services have been plastering and stopping in Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell and Central Otago for almost 10 years. We specialise in residential, high end architectural and light commercial, including shop fit outs.

We are currently seeking additional Plasterers / Stoppers and Labourers to join our growing team.

You'll be responsible for carrying out all aspects of interior plastering from start to finish.

Duties include:

• Mixing and applying plaster.
• Installing all tapes to joins, internals, square stop and splays.
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd coat joins, screws and external angles.
• Measure, cut and install cover/cornice.
• Level 5 skimming.
• Sanding with vacuum sander as well as detailing by hand with a light.

Successful candidates will have:

• A minimum of 3 years experience (not required for labouring position)
• A full, clean drivers licence and your own reliable transport
• Good spoken English communication skills
• A completed Apprenticeship would be a bonus!

These are permanent full time positions with a guaranteed 40 hour week, Monday - Friday. A competitive hourly rate is on offer aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.

Day travel around the region will be a requirement. Transport will be provided for sites outside of Queenstown and there will be a financial reimbursement for travel time.
