At Compass Group we have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember. We have an exciting opportunity for exceptional Lounge Assistants to join our team within our Auckland Airport Operations (Domestic) on a Casual basis. Hours of work are on "as and when" required basis, dependent upon business needs.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and clearing tables
  • Keeping the buffet tables clean
  • Some dishwashing duties when needed
  • Some kitchen work when needed


He kōrero mōu / About you:

  • Be hard working, reliable and flexible in your ability to work
  • Having a friendly, outgoing personality
  • Must be able to lift 20kg weight
  • Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Have experience working in a similar position within a 5-star environment
  • Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168 would be an added advantage
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service and quality
