Agency-side account management role where you'll tackle complex issues, shape and influence public and sector opinion, and manage relationships.

About the role:

Reporting to the Director, the Senior Client Manager will lead relationships, manage projects, and deliver both strategic and tactical advice to everyone from Boards and CEOs, to GMs and Communications Leaders across this agency’s client portfolio.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years’ agency-side experience in PR and Communications Account Management or Client Service, working with small and large clients
  • Extremely strong writer and verbal communicator
  • Passion and knowledge for politics, the economy, media, current affairs / events, and issues
  • Fantastic relationship skills allowing you to effectively work with your team and a range of stakeholders up, down and across client organisations
  • Commercial edge and a growth mindset, meaning you're driven to uncover and convert opportunity, and effective in doing so.
  • Strong project management and administrative skills
  • Management experience of at least one staff member
  • This is a Wellington-based role, full-time, and office based.
