We are driven by our values of being trusted, sustainably minded, innovative, generous, and curious. As a team we take a collaborative approach and have a working environment where all ideas are heard, evaluated, and tested against our leading goal - to be the world's most human-centered appliance brand.

Based at our Auckland Design Centre as the Global Logistics Project Manager, you will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and management of high value logistics projects across various global regions, with a focus on driving efficiencies, delivering the principle of fast and a positive return to the bottom line without negatively impacting customer service and cash (inventory).

Reporting to the GM Global Supply Chain you will be responsible for leading key projects such as our warehouse network review, inbound freight cost reduction, and warehouse and transport digitization efforts, while ensuring alignment with global business objectives and achieving end to end logistics cost targets.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Leadership

  • Providing regular reporting updates on strategic initiative progress to the In-Market Leadership team, Global Supply Chain and Executive Management.

Ownership of key global initiatives

  • Network & Warehouse Design strategy including warehouse sizing & location, network optimisation & product routing.
  • Cost To Serve, providing transparency & visibility to warehouse & logistics costs at a global, market & warehouse level to optimise our logistics network and identify areas to reduce costs.
  • Strong consideration of the supply chain environmental influences while designing solutions
  • Oversee and monitors effective financial management of initiatives

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, and project management, with at least 2 years in a global or cross-border logistics environment.
  • Proven project management experience, particularly in managing complex logistics projects in multiple regions.
  • Strong understanding of global logistics operations, transportation networks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in cost reduction strategies, process optimization, and the digitization of logistics functions.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a focus on delivering results across multiple teams.
  • Proficient in logistics software, ERP systems (JDE preferred) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).

What we offer:
We can give you the rare opportunity to move into a large, complex global organisation headquartered in NZ, where you will gain wide exposure across the business. This role has diverse and exciting challenges and the chance to continually learn and develop.

Along with a competitive salary, flexible working, ongoing development and excellent growth and progression opportunities, as a valued member of our team you’ll enjoy generous discounts on Fisher & Paykel and Haier products, life & disability insurance, discounted medical cover, access to our superannuation scheme, access to our leading Whanau/Family leave offering, our subsidised staff café, and free car parking when you are on-site.

All this, coupled with great leadership and backed by a world leading heritage brand that is consistently ranked as one of New Zealand’s most Trusted Brands… year after year.
