About the role

Your caregiving career will thrive working at Springlands Lifestyle Village in Blenheim. Your passionate experience and kindness to provide first class care for our residents will see you exceed in this role.

We have a full-time position working 30 hours per week on offer.

Shifts are as follows: Thursday and Friday -AM. Saturday and Sunday - PM.

Duties:

  • Provide resident directed care and support our residents with activities of daily living.
  • Work under the direction of a Registered nurse as part of the Care Team.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and choice.
  • Contributes to and demonstrates knowledge and use of resident directed Care Plans.
  • Provide support for the family.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Health and Wellbeing certificate preferred.
  • Excellent attitude and demonstrate self-motivation and proactiveness.
  • Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly is preferred.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Empathy and kindness to make a difference in our residents' lives.
