We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Sales Cadet to join our vibrant team at Ebbett Prestige Tauranga.

This exciting role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced automotive sales environment.

The successful candidate will assist with a variety of tasks around the dealership, including vehicle movement, general yard maintenance, assisting with sales enquiries, and supporting the sales team in ensuring that our vehicles are presented to the highest standard. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining the showroom, preparing vehicles for sale, and ensuring smooth operations on the yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely move vehicles around the lot and to/from suppliers.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe car yard.
  • Set up the yard each day, including flag placement and unlocking vehicles.
  • Conduct regular checks on vehicles for fuel levels, software updates, service due dates, WOF, RUCs, and registration expiry.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and report any issues to management.
  • Assist with vehicle detailing and preparation for sale.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly secured and locked at the end of each day.
  • Document customer enquiries and capture relevant contact details.
  • Generate compliance materials like window cards, price boards, and fuel saver documentation.
  • Assist photographer in taking high-quality photos and update vehicle listings on Autoplay when required.
  • Help prepare vehicles for delivery and manage incoming stock.
  • Greet customers and introduce them to the sales team.
  • Collect and deliver cars as needed by sales consultants or managers.
  • Assist other departments, as approved by the Sales Manager.
  • Attend after-hours events as required.


Qualifications:

  • A strong work ethic with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, including two Saturdays per month.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
  • A keen interest in the automotive industry is an advantage.
