Job Description

Mechanical Fitter – Hamilton

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established operation in Hamilton. If you enjoy being hands-on, thrive on variety, and like solving mechanical problems without needing someone looking over your shoulder – this could be just the thing.
This isn’t your average clock-in, clock-out role. You’ll be joining a team that values practical thinking, solid banter, and people who genuinely take pride in what they do. You won’t be just a number – and we actually mean that.

The role in a nutshell:

  • Assembly, maintenance and repair of a range of mechanical systems and machinery
  • Interpreting technical drawings and manuals (and ideally doing so the right way up)
  • Fault finding and problem solving on the go
  • Working both independently and as part of a crew that’s got a solid reputation for getting things done right


What we’re after:

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or similar
  • Good experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to get stuck in
  • Someone who takes health and safety seriously – but doesn’t take themselves too seriously
  • Bonus points if you’re handy with a laugh over smoko
