About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
We have a position available on our Residential and Recovery Service.

Hours or work are:
16 hours weekly – Friday and Saturday from 3.00pm to 11.30pm based in Christchurch.

Responsibilities include:

  • Advocate and support people to be well and thrive.
  • Connect them with resources that support them in living well and assist them in building resilience.
  • Help people connect with their communities, building the relationships that matter most.
  • Foster positive change for a more positive life.
  • Provide medication support for our people.
  • Provide support with household management.
  • Managing a caseload and all reporting requirements.


You | Mōu
You must have previous experience working in a community environment and mental health and addictions sector.
You must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent. To check equivalency go to https://www.tewhatuora.govt.nz/our-health-system/pay-equity-settlements/care-and-support-workers-pay-equity-settlement/pay-equity-and-qualification-equivalencies
You must hold a full driver’s licence.
Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one within 2 months of starting.
Have knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
