FreedomLife, a residential addictions recovery programme run by the Cross Roads Christian Community Trust, which offers a supportive environment for individuals seeking freedom from various addictive behaviours. Located in the beautiful Paraparaumu on the Kapiti Coast, we've been providing hope and healing since 1999. We believe in looking beyond addiction to see the potential for free and fruitful lives in each person we serve.

About the Opportunity

We're seeking a passionate and skilled Social Media Specialist to help amplify our message of hope and recovery. This opportunity will play a vital part in raising awareness of FreedomLife's services and connecting with potential clients and supporters. You'll be instrumental in shaping our online presence and sharing inspiring stories of transformation.

The Opportunity Will Involve

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Creating engaging and informative content, including text, images, and videos.
  • Managing social media accounts, responding to inquiries, and fostering online community.
  • Monitoring social media analytics and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborating with the FreedomLife team to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Assisting with the creation of marketing materials for other communication channels.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and compelling content.
  • Proficiency in using social media analytics tools.
  • Experience working with non-profit organizations (preferred).
