About the Role

We are seeking a registered and certificated ECE Kaiako to join our team in a part-time position (20 hours per week, Monday to Friday). This role offers a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Build strong connections with tamariki, whānau, and the local hapori (community).
  • Contribute to the high-quality education and care that Devonport Kindergarten is known for.


What We're Looking For

  • A registered and certified ECE Kaiako with a current first Aid certificate.
  • A passionate educator who prioritises excellent learning outcomes for tamariki.
  • A strong understanding of Te Whāriki, planning, assessment, and internal evaluation processes.
  • A team player with a warm, respectful, and organised approach to teaching.
  • A commitment to bicultural/multicultural practices and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
  • Confidence in using ICT tools to enhance learning and teaching practices.
