This workshop will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our extensive fleet of machinery from across our multiple operational sites throughout NZ. We are seeking a qualified Welder Engineer to join the growing team in Tauriko.
About The Role
Position: Welder Engineer/Machinist
Join QUBE Ports NZ as a Welder Engineer/Machinist, where you'll tackle repairs, welding, and maintenance of crucial machinery in our dynamic port logistics environment.
Location: Tauriko, Tauranga
Status: Full Time Monday to Friday 0700 - 1600 with an hourly rate ranging from $41 - $43
Specific Responsibilities
Perform repairs and engineering tasks on machinery and structures.
Provide technical expertise to enhance component quality and longevity.
Ensure a safe work environment and report incidents promptly.
Who we're after:
- Trade certified as a Fitter Welder, and/or Machinist preferred.
- 3+ years experience.
- Heavy Fabrication experience.
- Experienced in using a lathe to manufacture components.
- Knowledgeable in using engineering measuring equipment.
- Documented engineering background desired.
- Physically fit with robust engineering and welding experience.
