What you'll do:
As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be managing client relationships. You'll work closely with partners to ensure our service is exemplary. The role will involve actively developing and maintaining these crucial relationships, managing the partner base to create maximum value for both parties. You'll also be responsible for creating a proactive partner call cycle, using insights from these interactions to inform strategic decisions. Additionally, you'll prepare regular reports for partners, undertake new partner development work as needed, and drive communication efforts in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team.
- Develop and maintain partner relationships
- Manage partner base to maximise surplus and gifted donation opportunities
- Create and manage a proactive partner call cycle (in person, online and phone) to develop relationships
- Use insight from partner interactions to inform decision making, reporting and strategic input
- Prepare timely and regular reporting for donors
- Undertake new partner development work as required
- Drive and develop appropriate communications to partners, in liaison with Marketing and Communications team
- Manage and maintain CRM system with partner details
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Account Manager position is a self-starter with a passion for relationship building, problem solving, and identifying win-win solutions. You bring proven experience in building mutually beneficial relationships, backed by previous sales experience in a service-based role. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills complement your strong attention to detail. You're known for your strategic thinking abilities, using insights to inform decision-making processes. Strong computer skills are essential for this role, particularly proficiency in Excel. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to build mutually profitable relationships
- Previous sales experience, preferably in a service-based sales role including both hunting and farming
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to think strategically and use insight to inform decision making
- Strong computer skills including Excel
- Experience with using Salesforce or CRM is an advantage
