A young man with an intellectual disability is starting an exciting new chapter as he
transitions out of school. He loves being out and about, meeting people, and trying new
activities—but he needs the right person by his side to support his independence, build his
skills, and make the most of every opportunity.
He’s warm, kind, and full of potential. This role is all about making the most of every day.
You’ll be part of his journey as he explores art, dance, and personal training sessions, while
also giving him the support he needs to engage fully. He’s got plenty of great skills, but
sometimes needs a hand with communication, decision-making, and staying safe.
We’re looking for someone who:
👉 Has a natural ability to see potential and make good ideas happen.
👉 Is chatty, positive, and genuinely enjoys connecting with others.
👉Is active, energetic and has a great sense of humour
👉 Can encourage independence while stepping in when needed.
👉 Has a full driver’s license and a car (essential for getting around).
👉 Is open to occasionally helping with personal care tasks.
