Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Temporary Accounts Payable Officer with MYOB experience on behalf of our client. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a busy finance team.
This is a part time role, up to 30 hours a week, with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner using MYOB.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding payment queries.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Proficiency in MYOB is preferable but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is an advantage.
