Our client, a well-established government organisation, is seeking a reliable and articulate Overnight Customer Service Representative to join their inbound contact centre team. This is a temporary position with potential for permanent opportunities down the line.

As an Overnight Customer Service Representative you will handle customer inquiries and issues during late-night or overnight hours, requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills, while also being able to work independently.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring every customer receives accurate information and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls from the public and provide accurate information in response to general inquiries.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Implement solutions and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Process customer inquiries and resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude, even during stressful situations.
  • Adapt to the unique challenges and demands of an overnight shift environment.


Details of the role:

Starting ASAP for 6 months (with the potential to go permanent)
Wednesday to Sunday 10pm – 6am

You are a reliable, confident and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills that is self-motivated, and able to work responsibly.
You thrive in a focused environment and are comfortable working independently. You have a passion for helping others and providing exceptional customer service. You’re adaptable, quick to learn new systems, and committed to resolving customer inquiries effectively. Your ability to stay calm and professional ensures that you always provide a positive experience for those you assist.
