Our client, a well-established government organisation, is seeking a reliable and articulate Overnight Customer Service Representative to join their inbound contact centre team. This is a temporary position with potential for permanent opportunities down the line.
As an Overnight Customer Service Representative you will handle customer inquiries and issues during late-night or overnight hours, requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills, while also being able to work independently.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring every customer receives accurate information and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls from the public and provide accurate information in response to general inquiries.
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Implement solutions and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
- Process customer inquiries and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude, even during stressful situations.
- Adapt to the unique challenges and demands of an overnight shift environment.
Details of the role:
Starting ASAP for 6 months (with the potential to go permanent)
Wednesday to Sunday 10pm – 6am
