He angitūtanga / The opportunity:
We are looking for a positive, energetic and reliable Cleaning Assistant to join our senior living site CHT Te Awamutu. This is a Permanent Part-Time position.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
In this position you will be responsible for;
Cleaning all bathrooms and toilets, rooms and offices.
Vacuuming and polishing floors.
Emptying rubbish.
Maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals, and any other general cleaning duties as required.
You will also need to manage cleaning duties in a timely manner and to adhere to health, safety and security procedures.

You will have a high attention to detail.
Be willing to go the extra mile and take pride and ownership of the role.
You will have high standards in personal presentation, as well as a have a friendly, helpful, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
You will demonstrate good working knowledge of commercial cleaning and infection control procedures and be flexible to work under short notice.
Ideally you will have previous cleaning experience in an aged care environment.
Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for customer service and quality.
