The role
This role is the key player in producing month-end and year-end NZX reporting and consolidating numbers for the Group.
You’ll be responsible for the full set of accounts for an international subsidiary, including monthly financial statements, stat accounts, year-end and budgeting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities include
Accounting
- Month-end and year-end financial statements
- Assist in the global consolidation of financial accounts
- Complete an international subsidiary’s financial close procedures
- Budgeting and forecasting for international subsidiary
- Partnering with the leadership team of the subsidiary
- Analyse and finalise monthly reporting
- Review balance sheet reconciliations
- Sharing monthly results with subsidiary's senior leadership
- Managing FX implications
Statutory reporting and audit
- Be involved in the audit process with external auditors
- Assist in the production of IFRS-compliant semi-annual and annual statutory financial statements
- Prepare accounting papers as required
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to organisation-wide continuous improvement initiatives and lead projects proactively
- Focus on creating efficiencies and improving processes
The person
We are seeking an astute and proven finance professional, with solid Financial Accounting experience.

Must have experience and qualifications
- CA qualified
- 3-4 years’ experience in accounting roles, including practice and some commercial
- Technical accounting experience

- Manufacturing
- Exposure to international business
Technical tools
- MS Excel
- ERP, ideally SAP
- Proficiency in MS PowerBI
