About the Role:

Our client is seeking multiple experienced Gas Cutter's to join their team in 2025. This role involves dismantling plant and equipment on project sites and maintaining plant and equipment at our yards nationwide. You'll also provide technical assistance for the dismantling and demolition of plant and process recovered metals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dismantle plant equipment, and structures on project sites
  • Perform gas cutting, sort materials, and record weights.
  • Maintain and repair machinery, including trucks, forklifts, and excavators.
  • Assist in training staff on equipment use and safety procedures.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and actively participate in health and safety activities.


Key Competencies:

  • 3+ years of mechanical maintenance and fitting experience.
  • Experience with hydraulic and forklift maintenance.
  • Clean criminal record and valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel for work.
