We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Tranzit bus and coach workshop team in based in Darfield.
The size of our fleet offers our mechanics the opportunity to continuously grow their automotive skillset and develop some transferable skills to further their industry careers.
In our workshops every day is different! Here's what your day could look like:
- Diagnosing vehicle faults and problem-solving mechanical issues
- Servicing, repairs and overall maintenance of our diverse fleet of vehicles
- Working with on our electric buses and upskilling in our EV technology.
What are we looking for?
- A minimum 5 years experience working on large vehicles and are a qualified heavy diesel mechanic, although if you are petrol mechanic with a similar length of experience, we are still keen to chat!
- Proven diagnostic experience
- A Class 2 NZ drivers licence, or ability to obtain with our support.
- A good eye for detail, an eagerness to get the job done right and a passion for the trade.
