This is a permanent full-time position of 40 hours per week on a roster which will include weekends and public holidays.

He kōrero mōu: About you
As the Senior Facility Coordinator, you will work closely with the Facilities Manager and the wider Zoo Environment, Design & Construction team to ensure our facilities and assets are safe, compliant, well-presented & maintained to the highest standards & ready to support the Zoo’s operations 24/7.

Skills and Experience:
• 4–5 years’ experience in Facility or Property Management, Maintenance Delivery, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage compliance, health & safety, and supplier relationships.
• Proven problem-solving skills for complex challenges.
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Qualifications:
• New Zealand Diploma in Facility Management (Level 6) or equivalent experience.
• NZ Driver’s Licence (HT and forklift certification desirable).

Leadership Capabilities:
• You thrive in complexity, demonstrating accountability, courage, and collaboration.
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and can inspire your team to achieve excellence
