We have an exciting opportunity to grow your career as a Distribution Line Mechanic within our team based in Otara. You will be responsible for the provision of quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations. You will be responsible for identifying, and implementing risk control measures to assigned work tasks, to provide a safe working environment.
This is a full-time permanent position, working hours are 07:30am to 16:00pm, Monday to Friday
About You
We’re on the hunt for a Distribution Line Mechanic up to date registration and competencies, who has a least a Class 2 Drivers Licence or HT Licence.
• EWRB Line Mechanic Registration and current practising license • NZQF Level 4 qualification in Electricity distribution • NZ Class 1 Drivers Licence • An unwavering commitment to health and safety • Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and safe practices for Low Voltage Electrical Work
