Lead from the front! Take charge and inspire your team to deliver exceptional home-based / community healthcare services that exceed expectations. As a Support Worker Team leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership, staff development, recruitment, support to the Advanced Support Workers in the delivery of homecare support within your assigned region, consultation with care coordination and community nurse teams, liaise with the community clinical team and Trainer on their requirement for SW competency assessments, establish a rapport with Tangata and their whanau. Your role will involve implementing service delivery models aligned with our values, ensuring quality assurance, and meeting contractual requirements. You will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.

- Working alongside the regional leadership team to deliver quality home and community support services to our clients and their Whānau
- Facilitating co-operative and cohesive working relationships between our Nursing, Care Coordination and Support Worker teams
- Leading a team of care coordinators to facilitate the delivery of a responsive client focused home support service
- Ensuring support workers are rostered safely and effectively to meet the needs of our clients
- Overseeing all new referrals to ensure effective rosters are put in place
- Championing customer service and communication excellence
- Managing escalations and complaints

- A demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the workplace
- Actively demonstrates the ability and desire to show cultural sensitivity, awareness and understanding of diversity
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Experience in leading and supporting a large busy team
- Highly organised individual with excellent time and management skills
- Experience in logistics, planning and prioritisation
- Strong team player who is able to work effectively with a wide range of people
- Previous experience working in a call centre or a similar dynamic working environment
- Strong relationship management skills, both internal and external
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships both internal and external
- Proficient with general computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent verbal, written communication and organisational skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
