About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for multiple enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Assistants to work at Palmerston North Hospital. Hours as and when required.

You will be responsible for:

  • working as part of a team serving food on the trayline
  • ensuring hygiene and washing dishes
  • ensuring that all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
  • assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.


To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167). You will have superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
