Job Description

The Rendering/Effluent Operator plays a key part in ensuring that the department is operating effectively. You will also work with the Rendering Supervisor to ensure any maintenance of the area is carried out in a timely and cost effective manner alongside implementing new systems when appropriate.

Occasional call out and weekend/shift work will be required for this permanent position.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant experience; preferably in a rendering environment. Experience in food manufacturing or engineering would also be considered.
  • Organisational skills and the capability to cope with a variety of priorities and demands.
  • Communicate effectively and work well within a team
  • A good standard of computer literacy and administrative experience
  • A strong commitment to Health and Safety
