Job Description

At Manawatu Toyota in Palmerston North, we have a 'grow service' strategy in place which is great news for you! A position is available for an apprentice automotive technician to join our service team.

We are committed to delivering exceptional service, quality and value in all areas of the dealership. We are looking for a highly motivated person to join us.

What skills would you need to have?

  • Have an interest in the motor industry and vehicles
  • Like working and being part of a team environment
  • Have a keen desire to learn, develop and keep up with the workload - both theory and practical
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Hold a clean driver's license
  • Have a desire to always achieve a high standard of customer service.
  • Have a positive attitude, lots of energy, enthusiasm and motivation
  • A solid work ethic
  • A pre-apprenticeship course would be great, but not essential - it's all about the right attitude
  • The role of apprentice is interesting and varied and requires you to be able to learn and retain information.
