BestStart Montessori Mosgiel is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher in Training to join our energetic and close-knit team. Our focus is on providing high-quality education to the children in our community.

About the Role
We are seeking a Teacher in Training who is passionate about early childhood education and currently enrolled in a Level 7 ECE program (Bachelor’s or Graduate Diploma). This is a permanent position, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated individual who is eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners. The ideal candidate will:
- Be enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor’s or Graduate Diploma program
- Have a strong understanding of child-led curriculum and planning
- Be familiar with current ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrate a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in teaching practice
- Show passion for early childhood education and a dedication to delivering high-quality learning experiences
