We are searching for a motivated individual with a love for working with children to join us as a Teacher in Training! Step into the world of hands-on learning and gain invaluable experience contributing to the growth and development of our little learners! This opportunity would be perfect for a student teacher in their 1st year or 2nd year of study!

About us:

At Busy Bees Early Learning Centre Westgate, our friendly kaiako foster a sense of belonging, trust, and understanding, ensuring that every child feels valued and included. We promote positive language and encourage happy children, building strong relationships and emotional well-being. To enhance our tamariki’s learning experiences we provide opportunities to walk within our local Westgate community and enjoy visits to the playing fields at the YMCA, making purchases from the shops, or reading at the library. Following our children’s interests, we arrange trips from time to time to places to extend their knowledge of the world, such as the zoo, farms, or museums!

About you:

Previous experience in an ECE environment would be a definite advantage although candidates who are great at communicating, friendly, approachable and who are passionate about nurturing and caring for the needs of our tamariki should also consider applying. You will be supporting a professional team of teachers in a fun, positive and rewarding environment.
