About the role
We have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Gas Technician in our Wellington based Gas team.
In this technically challenging role, you'll be a key member of our Wellington based Gas team, providing quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance, and fault services for gas reticulation in the Wellington region. In addition to the hands on work, you will also be working alongside and sharing your knowledge and experience with our trainees.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
As an experienced and qualified Gas Technician, you will offer the following:
- NZQA Level 3 Gas qualification or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of gas testing, protection equipment, systems and procedures utilised on gas networks
- Extensive industry related experience
- Strong commitment to Health and Safety
- A clean full drivers licence and ideally ability to drive a manual vehicle and/or heavy transport licence
- Ability to follow instructions and have great time keeping skills
Availability to participate in call out roster
