ABOUT THE ROLE

Your Locksmithing future starts here! This is an APPRENTICESHIP.
You’re launching your career with the arguably the best Locksmiths in the business. Following the NZQA syllabus with day to day hands-on guidance from experienced tradesmen you’ll learn the skills needed to handle challenges from managing traditional lock & key to modern electrical and digital security systems.
This is a trade apprenticeship that is expected to be completed within 3 years.

ABOUT YOU

As this is a practical trade, you’ll be naturally inclined towards working with your hands. There’s a few more important attributes you’ll bring that will position you for success:

• MUST BE teachable! Hungry to learn
• Attitude is critical – have a POSITIIVE one!
• Fully committed to seeing through this opportunity
• No Locksmithing experience necessary
• Attention to detail – meticulous with following processes
• Display aptitude – a way of thinking and problem solving
• Having an interest or hobby in working with electrical or mechanical equipment would be beneficial but not necessary
• Team player – the continuing culture and success of our client relies on everyone working as a team including you, of course
