He angitūtanga / The opportunity:
Join our team as a Site Maintenance Manager, where you'll ensure plant reliability and equipment condition is maintained through good machine maintenance, preventative maintenance scheduling, machine operator training, and effective fault finding.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
- Ensure Preventative Maintenance schedule is adhered to.
- Respond immediately to machinery breakdowns within the plant and action repair plans.
- Fix faults within the equipment production line to prevent breakdowns and increase production.
- Recalibrate instruments, oil, clean, and maintain site equipment.
- Plan and arrange for the replacement and installation of equipment where required.
- Ensure adherence to budget and escalate any risk to overspend as soon as identified.
- Investigate pricing and conditions for procurement of any maintenance-related costs including parts and services.
- Liaise with production to ensure machinery is fixed in a timely manner and plan any maintenance in accordance with production requirements.
- Provide training to machine operators to ensure the safe and effective operation of plant equipment.
- Schedule equipment maintenance effectively to decrease breakdowns within the plant and carry out effective action plans when faced with breakdowns.
- Look for opportunities to improve plant efficiency or costs through alternative means of operating or alternative sources of parts or services.
