About the Role
You'll be involved in a variety of projects such as working on new builds from start to finish and renovating and repairing older houses. The work may be anywhere throughout the wider region. You'll be responsible for all aspects of the building, including interpreting plans, measuring and cutting materials to the right size and shape, and installing joinery.
What do you need?
Proven experience in the building/construction industry
Ability to work efficiently and safely on-site
Reliable and able to start ASAP
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Positive attitude and teamwork spirit
Fit for work and able to lift 25kg and upwards
A good team player
Strong health and safety focus to keep yourself and others safe on sites
Reliability including reliable transport to get yourself to and from work daily
Keenness to get stuck in and get the job done
Positive attitude
In addition to these you will be required to undertake a pre employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal history check as well as be able to provide references on request and require the legal right to work in New Zealand.
