BestStart Montel Avenue is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to join our passionate, tight-knit team. Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community.

This is a permanent fulltime position working 40 hours per week.

Role requirements:

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence.

We are looking for the following:

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current teacher registration/certification
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
  • Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
