At BestStart Ponsonby, we are proud to be a high-functioning centre with a long-standing, experienced team of professional teachers who are dedicated to nurturing and inspiring young minds. We are searching for a Teacher in training to join our Toddlers (2-3.5 yrs) room.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.

Role requirements:

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:

Enrolment into a level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma course
Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
