About the Opportunity

Brake is seeking a passionate and skilled volunteer to help us plan the future of our website. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute directly to our mission of improving road safety in New Zealand by ensuring our online presence effectively communicates our work and reaches a wider audience. You'll play a crucial part in shaping how we connect with communities, partners, and those affected by road accidents.

The Opportunity Will Involve

  • Collaborating with our team to define the goals and objectives for our website redesign or update.
  • Conducting a thorough website audit to identify areas for improvement in terms of user experience, content, and functionality.
  • Researching best practices in website design and functionality for non-profit organizations.
  • Developing a comprehensive website plan outlining content strategy, navigation, design, and functionality.
  • Creating wireframes and mockups to visualize the proposed website structure and design.
  • Presenting your plan to the Brake team and gathering feedback.
