Job Description

OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in New Plymouth.

Our client is a local business dedicated to strengthening Taranaki through expert steel fabrication, has been proudly serving the region since 2017. Known for their precision and collaborative approach, they consistently deliver high-quality steel projects on time and within budget.

As they continue to grow and take on exciting new projects, we are looking to recruit an experienced Site Forman to join their team.

This is a hands-on position for an experienced foreman with a strong background in structural steel, seismic strengthening, fabrication, and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Operations Manager to coordinate site work and resources.
  • Leading site installations.
  • Managing procurement of materials and consumables for projects.
  • Overseeing health, safety, and quality assurance during installations.


What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a foreman or in a similar role.
  • Solid background in construction and engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering, architectural, and shop drawings.
  • Must have the right to work in New Zealand
