About the company

Ireland Engineering Solutions Ltd. in Oamaru has a long history in the North Otago region of providing engineering services to farmers, contractors, local industry and residents. Our workshop is attached to the TradeZone store, supplying engineering supplies including fastenings, safety gear, ag parts and tools through to toilet paper. Working together, we have access to a large number of suppliers and trade partners to help our customers find their solution.

With jobs ranging from small household repairs to large agricultural plant rebuilds, structural work, fabrication and everything in between - there is rarely a dull moment! You'll enjoy the variety this opportunity provides.

About the role

We are currently looking for an Office Administrator to join our busy team.

Key duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Daily banking, entering customer payments and monitoring debtors
  • Managing emails, mail & office and kitchen supplies
  • Accurately entering inward goods and creditor invoices
  • Answer incoming phone calls and account enquiries
  • Serve in store customers as required
  • Provide administration support to the General Manager, Director and Sales team as required
  • Maintain H&S records


This is a part time opportunity, the hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate. A competitive hourly rate is on offer aligned with the experience and knowledge you bring to the role.
