Job Description

  • Are you looking for a part time job with meaning?
  • Waitoki, Dairy Flat
  • 10 – 15 hours a week, evenings/after school (3-8pm)

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to support a vibrant pre-teen after school. He thrives on high-energy activities like bike riding, trampolining, swimming, and walking, and he’s always up for a fun adventure. A budding baker and a helpful hand around the house, he’s a typical 12-year-old in many ways and assuming competence is important.

With Autism shaping his journey, he’s working on building motor skills and learning through patience and practice. He’ll succeed with someone who can encourage him every step of the way. While he communicates in his own unique style, he’s eager to connect and share meaningful moments with someone ready to understand and engage. He has a sweet and sensitive personality and loves all things Disney, Mickey Mouse and music.

If you have a calm, grounded presence and are ready to dive into exciting activities while helping him make the most of his afternoons, we’d love to hear from you!

Hours are 3pm – 8pm (flexible) for 2 or 3 afternoons a week between Monday and Thursday. A full driver's license is ideal but not necessary as you will be based at his large property with mum and dad working from home. There will be an opportunity for extra occasional weekend days or school holiday hours from time to time.
