An award winning, employee-owned firm of more than 350 people worldwide. They offer environmental, asbestos, geotechnical, geological, and groundwater / surface water consulting.

The Role
This position will involve exposure to a wide range of ground engineering projects and challenges involving such aspects as geohazards, foundation and retaining walls, settlement analyses and construction of large-scale residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

It would include field and office based work through all stages of site characterisation, data analysis and reporting, design and construction monitoring.

About You
The working environment is highly productive, efficient and friendly, so a sense of humour and a willing and flexible attitude will be highly valued.

In addition:

  • Has a BE (Civil) or ME (Geotechnical) or BSc, PGDip, MSc.
  • Has at least five years of geotechnical consulting experience (ideally most of which in New Zealand).
  • Has excellent project management and interpretative report writing skills.
  • Is passionate about geology and geotechnical engineering – in all its forms
  • Shows a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Wants to grow their career, make a difference in the community and create an impact.
  • Understands and fosters client relationships.
  • Will check your ego in at the door and work alongside a dynamic team.
  • Finds innovative and pragmatic ways to deliver excellent outcomes to your Clients.
  • Is proficient in soil and rock logging
