Job Description

Asphalt Plant Operator

We are currently looking for a Plant Operator to join the team in our asphalt plant. You will be part of a team manufacturing tonnes of asphalt per month, with the aim of increasing production.

We are open to receiving applications from experienced industry professionals or with a manufacturing background wanting to get into the civil sector.

What you bring to the role:

  • Prior plant operating experience or other relevant plant operating experience ie: concrete plants
  • Prior manufacturing experience
  • Prior mechanical experience is advantageous
  • Full Class 1 licence is essential, beneficial to have Class 2 with WTR
  • Ability to work rostered days and nights
  • Excellent Health and Safety knowledge
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Basic computer skills

The successful applicant will be required to complete a Ministry of Justice check and pass pre-employment drug testing - you’ll need to be fit for work!
